The one constant through all the years has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game; it's a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good and could be again.

-W.P. Kinsella

The Westchester Baseball Group, a bunch of baseball lovers, SABR and non-SABR alike, meet monthly to talk baseball, generally at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday at the Greenburgh Town Hall, off Route 287 in central Westchester. See the group's website for more details, or join the Yahoo E-group westchesterbaseballgroup. You can also contact group coordinator Cliff Blau at (914) 948-8406 or at

SABR was established in Cooperstown, New York in August of 1971. The Society's mission is to foster the research and dissemination of the history and record of baseball while generating interest in the game.
